  • Our pricing depends on the type of work, travel, materials and how easily the wiring can be accessed. As a general guide, smaller electrical jobs usually start from approximately $150–$250, including the initial labour and basic materials.

    We can provide an estimate from photos for straightforward work or arrange a site visit for larger projects.

  • FA straightforward power point installation generally starts from approximately $180–$300, depending on the location, wall construction, cable access and distance from the switchboard or an existing circuit.

    Outdoor outlets, dedicated circuits and difficult cable routes may cost more.

  • eplacing an existing light fitting generally starts from approximately $150–$250, provided the existing wiring and mounting point are suitable.

    New lights requiring additional wiring, new switches or ceiling access will be priced according to the work involved. The cost of decorative or feature light fittings is additional unless supplied by the customer.

  • A typical residential switchboard upgrade generally ranges from approximately $1800–$3,500, depending on the number of circuits, existing wiring, required protection and the condition and location of the switchboard. A five-bedroom villa built in the 1920s may have very different electrical requirements from a two-bedroom brick unit built in the 1990s.

    Pricing depends on the size, age, existing wiring and overall condition of the property. The materials required for a standard switchboard upgrade generally start from approximately $800, before any markup or labour costs are added.
